The employees in the Non-Represented, Confidential, and Board of Supervisor Executive Assistants employee groups had a majority of their membership vote to affiliate with Teamsters health insurance. With this vote, CalPERS requires a resolution terminating each group from CalPERS health for the upcoming calendar year. These resolutions need to be adopted by the Board of Supervisors no later than September 12th. Adopting these resolutions within CalPERS required timelines will allow these groups to have access to Teamsters health insurance effective January 1, 2023
