The Butte County Farm Bureau remains opposed to Mr. Roderick Peterson being appointed to the Butte County Water Commission. Nothing is more important in Butte County than water; our most precious natural resource. We are confident there are many knowledgeable and qualified water science and/or conservation individuals in the 3rd Supervisor District that could fill this role and would hope the Supervisor Ritter would seek someone who brings knowledge to a volunteer job that requires time and investment.
