On April 9, 2019, the Board of Supervisors authorized a capital asset purchase and budget adjustment to replace an Assessor's Office vehicle destroyed in the Camp Fire. The funds to cover the purchase of this vehicle were not rebudgeted for Fiscal Year (FY) 2020-21, as the vehicle was scheduled to be delivered in May 2020. Due to COVID-19 related issues, the vehicle was not delivered until August 2020. The cost of the replacement vehicle is $33,050 and will be funded by $23,050 in insurance reimbursement and $10,000 from the balance in the Assessor's Equipment Replacement Fund. Insurance is not covering the entire cost of purchase because the new vehicle was upgraded to 4 wheel drive to better meet the needs of the Department. (Assessor)
