On February 11, 2020, the Board of Supervisors approved a $240,957 contract with Hignell, Incorporated DBA Experts in Your Home for repair of damages from the 2018 Camp Fire to the County building located at 747 Elliott Road in Paradise and Fire Station #33, 14164 Skyway Road in Magalia. During construction, a total of three change orders were necessary to complete the project. The change orders total $1,748.50 or 0.73% of the original contract amount, bringing the total costs for the contract to $242,705.50. The work has been inspected and approved by the Department of General Services and the Department of Development Services. The Department of General Services recommends that the Board of Supervisors ratify the change orders and accept the work as complete. (General Services)
