The District Attorney's Office participates in the Federal Equitable Sharing Program. The DOJ Asset Forfeiture Program is a nationwide law enforcement initiative that removes the tools of crime from criminal organizations, deprives wrongdoers of the proceeds of the crimes, recovers property that may be used to compensate victims, and deters crime. An Equitable Sharing Agreement and Certification is required annually to be filed with the DOJ. The report for FY 2019-20 has been prepared and summarizes program expenditures and revenues. In FY 2019-20, $142,378 was used to maintain computer software for the Department's case management system. (District Attorney)
