The County entered into an agreement with City of Biggs on June 18, 2012 to provide building services including permit application, plan check, and inspection services within the jurisdictional boundaries of the City. The contract was amended in 2015 to extend the terms of the agreement and to ensure the user fees are charged at the currently adopted rates. The processing fees are paid by the applicants directly to the Department of Development Services. The agreement amendment was approved by the City of Biggs on June 10, 2020. The Department recommends the Board of Supervisors amend the agreement with the City of Biggs to extend the term of the contract by four years, through June 30, 2024.
