This is video of 181 gamble rd berrycreek calf. We got to safety. Due to the lack of vegitation. From the north complex fire, And due to the latest weather this is the result. In the last 47 years my dad Gary Carranza lived down there without incident. I've spent 6 years here myself. Descovered it's a very fragile eco system. Home to endangered toad. Threatened newts. Deer migration route. Reptilian wet land. A major contributor to our water shed. With natural springs coming out of the mountain. It needs protected. We need help clearing trees properly so we don't dry up the wet land. Unfortunately due to the storm and the water I believe a lot of our stuff has went into the creek. Possabley causing more damage than I can report. Since my dad's passing the property was taken over by his sisters. They don't live there to assess the damages. I would like to bring our story out. This area is also native grounds for the maidu. the best thing we could do is get off it. The items there we have no we're to take them. We barely got out ourselves. Currently staying with family. I was and am blessed to of gotten this time here. But heart broken to see it like this. When all I wanted to do is protect it. This is a big reason having a fire dept matters. There's still emergency s happening that need services fast. Thank you berry creek and Butte county strong. Kristal buchholz.
